real-time PCR, is a molecular biology technique used to amplify and simultaneously quantify a specific DNA (or cDNA from RNA) sequence. Unlike conventional PCR, qPCR measures the accumulation of amplified product during the reaction in real time using fluorescent dyes or probes.
