The MS9740A is a benchtop optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) covering wavelengths from 600 nm to 1750 nm. It offers rapid, high-resolution optical measurements and is notably faster than previous models�but note that it has since been discontinued, with the MS9740B as its replacement.

Note: Fast sweep speed: captures a 5 nm span in ? 0.2 seconds�significantly decreasing measurement time. High dynamic range: around 60 dB (at 0.4 nm from the peak) with 30 pm minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW).
